IN PERSON ADULT COMMERCIAL ACTING CLASS Dates: September 30th & October 1st from 10am-12pm What this class includes: DAY ONE 10am-12pm Danielle will open with a Q&A, followed by cold readings and personality slates. She will then work with you individually the same way a director would, changing instructions quickly to see how well you can think on your feet while grounding yourself and making your reading as authentic as possible. We'll then focus on your improvisational skills as a performer, using comedy spots and reading in groups, Danielle will take this time to help you bring your most genuine self to the audition. Danielle will cover self-tape protocol and will also work on long-form pharmaceutical commercial copy. We will also cover writing your very own 30 second spot to really get into the mind of the script. DAY TWO 10am-12pm Present your written script, cast and direct your own commercial! The goal being to provide you with relevant experience and insight into one of the most common and lucrative forms of commercial auditions today. Every student will get one-on-one time with Danielle, where you will be able to talk through what your sticking points or blocks are and how to move forward. ----- Please note that class materials will be sent out directly to you a week before class and you will have an opportunity to ask questions leading up.
